We found this place by chance. Food was fantastic. One of the best fish and chips we've had.
At last we have found someone who can cook excellent fish and chips, instead of the usual ones that look the part, but are totally devoid of flavour. Tried this place for the first time last night and felt that we had to try them again tonight, purely for testing the consistency, of course. I'm going to have to say,they're the best we have tasted. Just a shame that we don't live closer.

Me and my kids go to the park in snainton sometimes we drive from York for an outing and some football,we tried the chippy after lovely women Kay I recall owns it and is a lovely women great food great atmosphere we will be going again thank you
So happy to have the fish & chip shop open again. Food always excellent. Customer service brilliant. I was in last week when a really rude woman came in with her feral kids. She returned swearing at the staff about the sausages being battered, interrupting me placing my order. The staff were nothing but professional. Well done Kay & staff.
Great lady owner, very clean and tidy. Fish pattie and chips excellent. Well presented. Sausage was excellent. Parking a little bit restricted but that's not shops fault. Nice little village. Good knowledge of local area. There is parking across road just after double yellow lines. Only bad bit cans of pop frozen solid, but they soon defrosted and I'm confident they would have been exchanged if I called back. Yes I would call again.
On holiday in the area and decided to try a local chippy for our tea. Absolutely delicious freshly cooked fish and chips - very short waiting time despite it being a busy Friday night. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly and welcoming. We noticed they all said goodbye to every customer. The premises were clean and tidy and cosy. The prices reflected the quality. Overall a fabulous chip shop!
